2nd act film project ‘24

On Oct. 23 Marley will premiere his short along side 13 other filmmakers. The 2nd Act Film Project, presented by The Jasper Project is designed to encourage and promote the growth of independent filmmaking in South Carolina. Filmmakers are given the 1st and 3rd acts of a short film script and their job is to write the second act and make the movie.

In June, Hope of Escape screened at DC Film Fest. Over 10,000 attendees, 79 films and 32 countries from around the world were represented at this festival.

International African American Museum

In April, Hope of Escape screened at the International African American Museum. Marley, Amy and Lamont were warmly received by both the IAAM staff and those who came to watch the film!
